The PDF document content can not be altered easily, but sometimes we need to convert a PDF file back to an editable format such as TXT, RTF, DOC(X) etc., in order to make make changes to the document.FlipPDF To WORD provides this facility and does the job in an efficient manner. It enables you to convert multiple PDF documents into DOC (MS Word) format, in one go. The application also provides Hot Directories Mode, which automatically converts PDF files to DOC format as soon as you place a PDF file in a specified folder. Apart from the GUI, it comes with a CLI mode to quickly perform PDF to Word conversions from the Windows CMD utility. More details after the jump.
The simple interface of this application contains three conversion modes on its homescreen including Batch Convert Mode, Hot Directories Mode and Command Line Mode.
If you just need to convert PDF files, select Batch Convert Mode from the main window and click Next. In the next step, you can either drag your files over the application or click the Add Folder button on the quick access bar to add any PDF document directory. Whichever way you choose, the PDF files will be added to the conversion list, which shows file’s Name, Information, Size, Full file name and Out file name. To convert PDF into DOC format, click Convert to start converting your files.
You can select Hot Directories Mode either directly from the main screen or from within the Batch Convert Mode. This mode lets you select a source (Input Directory) and target (Out Directory), so that any PDF file placed in your source directory is automatically converted to DOC format and saved in target directory. After you have selected the source and target folders, simply click the blue Play button at the bottom to run the monitoring process. You may anytime stop the monitoring process or minimize the application to system tray, by clicking the respective buttons.
